Bytomic Tournament – April 2025

Bytomic TKD will be hosting their next tournament on 17^th November. For our newer members, Bytomic TKD were the Taekwondo organisation that Talon TKD originated from, and so our students have access to watch and compete at their tournaments if they wish.

Tournaments are a chance to test your metal against other people of similar age and grade, with medals being awarded to the winners of each event. You can compete in patterns, sparring, or both. Breaking is sometimes ran as an additional event if there is a suitable number of participants within the age bracket. Sparring at tournaments is full contact, so you will need sparring kit to compete in these events. Contact sparring is also a requirement from blue belt, but we recommend that students get accustomed to this earlier on in their Taekwondo career so that it isn’t completely alien to them when they come to grade. Sparring kits are available to buy on the web store on our website, please ask if you have any questions about the equipment on offer.
